Governance

Kazakhstan International School (KIS) is a non-profit school founded by Daniel Gunaseelan, a businessman of long standing in Almaty. The Advisory Board meets monthly during the school year and at an annual open meeting, usually during April or May. Views may be expressed to the Board through the Chair of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) or the Head of School.

THE ROLE OF THE KIS ADVISORY BOARD
The role of the Advisory Board is to ensure the fulfillment of the mission, vision and values of KIS. The Advisory Board also assists with the necessary fundraising development critical to promoting the goals and expansion of KIS.
