Why KIS?

At KIS Astana, learning is about more than academics. 

KIS Astana is a multicultural learning environment, with our students and staff from all over the world. We promote international thinking and global awareness and are involved locally in helping our community in Astana and throughout Kazakhstan.
KIS Astana is a warm and welcoming community where everyone is valued. We aim to create a family atmosphere with a close partnership between parents and the school. We plan to have an active, supportive Parent-Teacher Association with voting rights at the board level.

English is the language of communication in school, not only in the classroom but also at recess and around the school.
